Il giornalista del New York Times Nick Bilton riporta una voce interna all’azienda di Cupertino secondo cui l’iPhone 5 che tutti stiamo attendendo con ansia sarà presentato entro due settimane. Quindi entro la fine di settembre.
“We’re just weeks away from the announcement of the new Apple iPhone 5, according to an Apple employee who asked not to be named because he was not allowed to speak publicly for the company.”
Riporta inoltre la conferma che la forma del nuovo smartphone potrebbe essere molto simile a quanto ipotizzato dal web intero, dopo aver visto le custodie che alcune case hanno già messo in commercio come compatibili con tale telefono.
“On Thursday the technology blog Boy Genius Report posted images of a new iPhone case from the site of a company called Case-Mate. The images were visible on the company’s site for a short period of time before they were replaced with a curiously cryptic page that says, “We’ll have your cases when you have your new iPhone” .
From descriptions I’ve heard of the new iPhone from Apple employees, the images seemed potentially authentic.“
Quindi una forma che cambia totalmente rispetto al 4, più largo per ospitare uno schermo di quasi 4″, più sottile e con retro bombato in alluminio simile all’iPad 2. Il tasto home dovrebbe essere stato ridotto in altezza ed allargato per fare posto allo schermo ingrandito, modificata leggermente la disposizione dei tasti fisici, fotocamera da 8 mp e processore dual core A5.
